The Paste SplitButton on the Home tab is a good example. The list part, represented by an arrow, shows a list of similar buttons. You can click the button part to perform an action, just like the Button control. It is split, either horizontally or vertically, into a button part and a list part. The Cut button on the Home tab performs the built-in cut action. You click a button and it performs an action.
